​As a freelancer, I am passionate about helping writers refine their work. With my keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to excellence, I deliver top-tier editing services to my clients. Over the past 3 years, I have collaborated with 20 authors, editing and proofreading 60+ manuscripts.

 

Still, in my first career, I worked as a college instructor, focusing on developmental- and freshmen-level writing. During my tenure, I not only taught but also spent time editing student work and contributing to the editorial board for the English Department's in-house textbook, Composition and Grammar: For HCC by HCC. In this role, I  wrote content and meticulously edited and organized materials provided by others. Additionally, one of my peers and I co-authored and published a textbook: Sentence Diagramming 101: Fun with Linguistics and Movies. ​

Beyond my editing endeavors, my expertise extends to website front-end design and redesign. Leveraging my background in education and my eye for design, I collaborate with authors and others I know to create visually stunning and user-friendly websites. From conceptualization to implementation, I bring creativity and attention to detail to every website project, ensuring my clients' online platforms are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
